What kinds of photos work?
A phone photo, a screenshot, or a newspaper or book page all work. It reads best with the whole grid in frame and reasonably well lit; if it can't find the border on its own, you can drag the four corners into place by hand.
Will it read digits and pencil marks I've already filled in?
Yes. Printed clues become the puzzle itself; anything written in by hand — digits or pencil marks — is read as optional progress you choose whether to carry over before you play.
What if it misreads a digit?
Tap any cell to correct it before playing — the scanner also shows its next-best guesses for that cell, so fixing a misread is usually one tap. Nothing is final until you confirm the grid looks right.
