Puzzles and printing

Every puzzle comes from the same rated library and is verified by a solver that cannot backtrack, so none require guessing or bifurcation. Each section opener lists the techniques its tier requires. The PDF is set for A4 and prints on any home printer, single- or double-sided.

Is it free?

Yes. No account and no watermark, and there is no limit on how many books you create. Copies may be printed freely for personal, classroom or club use, but not resold. For commercial use, please contact us.

How many puzzles can one book hold?

Up to 50, across any combination of the ten difficulty tiers. At one puzzle per page that is roughly 75 pages including solutions; at four per page, roughly 45.

What paper and printer is the book made for?

Plain A4, on any home printer. Margins are equal on all sides and nothing prints within 17mm of an edge, so the layout is identical single-sided or double-sided. There is no bleed and no binding offset.

Are the solutions included?

Yes. Every book ends with a solutions section, six grids to a page. Each puzzle also prints the page number of its own solution.

How are the difficulty tiers decided?

Each puzzle is solved by an engine restricted to human deductions, with no guessing or backtracking, and scored from 1 to 100 on what that solve required. The ten tiers are bands of that score, so a Hard puzzle is genuinely harder than a Medium one rather than simply having fewer clues.

Can I make the same book twice?

No. Each book is drawn fresh from the library, so identical settings produce different puzzles. This is intentional: it allows an unlimited number of distinct books.
